Starbridge

The starbridge is a prototype ship – designed with the rebel alliance in mind, this ship packs a significant punch while still being scrupulously legal. Officially it was designed as a fast and light freighter, carrying less cargo but carrying it far faster and able to survive on dangerous trade runs.

While the actual cargo space is limited, the ship boasts a decent set of blasters, strong shields, and a highly tweaked engine. The civilian version can de-link it’s quad-linked blasters into a pair of dual-linked blasters, one of which can be controlled by a separate gunner. Designs for a military version exist, which also mounts a concussion missile launcher.

The civilian variant has three emplacement points worth of space unspent, allowing it to be upgraded easily – the military version has only one point worth of space.

At current no starbridges actually exist – this is a concept only. A previous version included a highly powered computer, but this has since been removed. For some reason the designer insists on shouting “THE MODIFIED ONE WILL BE BETTER!”, and suggests that you should “Pick one up in Tuathia”
