Bio:

Was part of a semi-reclusive sect of Jedi on friendly (if slightly strained) terms with the council. This group of Jedi was somewhat unique in that their training was based on balancing the strength of mind and body in concert with the Force rather than training Force abilities alone, with 3 masters teaching 3 apprentices each. It all came tumbling down however when Tanar, a pupil under the same master as Roah, came across a semi-sentient Sith artifact and was driven mad by its power and turned to the dark side. He then slaughtered all the other members of this circle of Jedi save Roah and Jar’eth, instead offering them a place as his disciples. Roah and the other refused however, and after briefly stunning Tanar they made good their escape. Since then Roah and this other Jedi have gone their separate ways, though they remain in sporadic contact. After this incident Roah has been driven to atone for his perceived failure in being unable to save the rest of his circle by training himself until he reaches a level at which he can hunt Tanar down and see justice done for his dead colleagues. A secondary goal however is re-forming this odd little school of Jedi if he can find the people and resources, and a haven to call his own.
